"Which timezone do you work from?"
I work from New Zealand, Monday to Saturday, 8am til 6pm with occasional availability outside these hours. If you're in the UK or Europe, we manage the time difference by meeting in the morning or evening.
"Do you offer gift cards?"
Yes! I offer a lovely gift voucher, digital or printed, which you can have tailored for your partner, daughter, colleague or whomever you have in mind. Available by contacting me directly.
"Could I take up a customised package?"
Yes I can create a customised package for you. Here are a few examples of requests I've had before:
A mix of coaching and styling - You may like to shop from your closet with a wardrobe review, or focus mainly on developing your own skills, with a bit of expert advice thrown in.
Special occasion wear - Whether you are looking for mother-of-the-bride, bridesmaids, graduation, formal events or ceremonies, I can style your complete outfit from head to toe. I usually do some research first to save you time and ensure a great result.
Capsule wardrobe - Together we'll create a list of the pieces you need and we'll help you find them. Your capsule might be for travel, work or life in general. Your personalised style direction will help identify the pieces you need and together we can take it from there. Or if you have already done some thinking and exploring, we can work together to fill in the gaps.

"How does online styling work?"
My Personal Styling and Style Coaching services have been online since I opened Style Gorgeous in 2017. This brings distinct advantages - my colour analysis is much more accurate; it is easier and more enjoyable to develop your style direction; and your purchases come straight to your home.
Clients tend to love online styling when they don't like going shopping, when they're looking for something different or if they want style coaching.
I use an app to curate your pieces into looks and collections that we review online. If you have preferred online stores, I incorporate them and suggest additional brands as needed.
"How does the waitlist work?
Each month I take a maximum number of clients, to ensure I can deliver my high quality service. Once we speak and confirm your styling experience, your first payment will confirm your place in the next Start Month available, which I will advise at the time.
Sessions are scheduled from the 1st of your Start Month. We schedule these dates after receiving your first payment. While you wait to start, you will receive an onboarding questionnaire to complete. Request a call to get started.
"What happens after I pay?"
Once you pay, I am notified by email. I'll then be in touch within 24-36 hours to confirm receipt via the email address and/or phone number that you provide during the payment process.
At times I may make available smaller service options which you can pay for instantly, without requesting a call.
"How much should I spend on styling?"
It's smart to allocate more of your budget to styling or coaching than to clothes, because this way you'll end up with more pieces that you love, which work for your body, style and life and stand the test of time.
Your styling is likely to be the same investment as a suit - whether haute couture or high end.
"Do you work with specific brands?"
I choose brands based on your style, taste and budget - my choices are completely aligned with what will work best for you - everything from haute couture to high street.
"Can you create a corporate casual look?"
Yes absolutely. This is one of the areas where women frequently ask for help. Absolutely any look you need, I can create it for you.
"Can you travel to style me?"
Yes I am available to travel to you. My VIP Presence Package includes travelling to your home in the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
More commonly, clients fly in to see me for the day or an afternoon. Wellington is a fantastically walkable city with everything from high street to designer stores. If I travel to you, I cover my time and expenses with a half-rate and for longer trips, a per diem.
"Which currency do you use?"
My pricing is in US Dollars.
"How do you create an enjoyable, fun experience?"
The starting point for my styling is that style is a very personal area of life. It's a trusted honour to style you. In my own styling journey I didn't want the extreme-TV-makeover-style experience and the thought made me avoid stylists, to be honest.
This is why I'm the stylist I wish everyone had. My clients enjoy the way I give them choices and explain my reasoning. I hold back on statements about what you 'should' and 'shouldn't' do - that's just not how I see it. The fun and the joy comes in as they see their true fashion voice taking shape - a style they love and feel powerful wearing.
"Do you work with men?"
Style Gorgeous is tailored for women. This specialist approach means I can keep my knowledge of stores, stock and trends current for you, without being spread too thin. I love serving women and that's my specialty.
Most other stylists include male and gender diverse styling in their offering, even if it's not obvious on the front page, so it could be worth having a look around.
